Ivy doesn't just crawl or climb. Some form small shrubs. This is known as shrub ivy.<\/p>

Some varieties have this habit as soon as they emerge. This is the case with \u00bbErecta\u2019 and \u2018Congesta\u2019, for example. Others develop this habit as they approach or reach maturity.<\/p>
