Ornamental ivy, Hedera helix<\/em> \u2018Sunrise\u2019<\/strong>, \u2018Buttercup\u2019 has a traditional ivy leaf, but in a golden yellow. This variety is very similar to 'Buttercup' but is much easier to grow and has pretty red stems.<\/p>

The leaves change colour as they age. Initially yellow, they become dotted or spotted with green and then pale green. This change is more rapid if the ivy grows in the shade. In bright sunlight, the foliage becomes whiter. In pots, avoid these situations so as not to see the leaves turn grey.<\/p>
