Irish ivy, Hedera hibernica<\/em> \u2018Sulphurea\u2019 adult, <\/strong>is a shrubby ivy with concave leaves marked with large light green to yellow-green spots, particularly on the margins.<\/p>

The leaf blade is almost round, not lobed or three-lobed.<\/p>

It flowers in greenish umbels in late autumn.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

History<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

This cultivar has a rather chaotic history. It was discovered and described by Hibberd in 1872. It then disappeared for a while. It was rediscovered in the gardens of Spetchley Park, Eversham, UK, but was not initially identified as \u2018Sulphurea\u2019. It was then known as \u2018Spetchley Variegated\u2019 until, in 1975, it was identified as \u2018Sulphurea\u2019 and reverted to its original name. It is presented here in its adult version.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
