Spanish ivy, Hedera iberica\u00a0<\/em>\u2018Monchique\u2019<\/strong>, This is a variety found by Dr Mike Jones to the south-east of Monchique, in the Algarve, Portugal. It has broad, olive-green, matte leaves with several more or less deep cut-outs. The elongated lobes point forwards.<\/p>

Young leaves are deep red. They then turn a more or less dark green.<\/p>

This cultivar is more vigorous than the species. It prefers shady locations.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
