mean?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The vocabulary used by botanists to describe plants is very rich. For leaves alone, you can come across dozens of specific terms.<\/p>\n<p>The word \u2018<b>palmatifide<\/b>\u2018applies to a leaf with several lobes organised along the veins, all of which fan out from the top of the petiole.
