The leaves are slightly triangular or three-lobed, with rounded apices. The base of the leaves is cordate. The leaf blade is dark green with a grey-green centre and creamy white margins. With age, the leaves change from green to a broader creamy white. The variegation is best revealed in the shade. The margins may turn red in cold weather.<\/p>
