The triangular shape of the leaf is more or less like an arrow. It is made up of 3 to 5 shallow lobes. The lobes at the base sometimes overlap slightly. The base of the leaf is\u00a0deeply curved and<\/span>\u00a0cordiform.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The leaf blade is dark green. Shoots and petioles are purplish green. The leaf may turn red with brown spots in cold weather.\u00a0<\/span>The veins are pale green to pale silver, with the main veins, which are raised, having a faint wine-red tinge.<\/span><\/p>
