Ornamental ivy, Hedera helix<\/em> \u2018Malvern,<\/strong> owes its main attraction to its extreme hairiness. The abundance of hairs is so great that new leaves appear with a silvery-white bud that could be mistaken for a mite attack! When the leaves are larger and the hairs are evenly distributed, the hairiness is not so obvious. The hairiness would be clearer if it were grown indoors rather than outdoors.<\/p>

The leaves have 3 to 5 pointed lobes. The edge of the leaf is twisted and folded, giving a very wavy appearance. The leaf blade is dark green, but the presence of white hairs gives the leaves a grey appearance.<\/p>

This variety is very hardy and works well in pots or as ground cover. Choose a spot in partial shade.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
