Ma non \u00e8 vero.<\/p><p>L'edera pulisce le pareti assorbendo l'umidit\u00e0. Inoltre, li isola dalle forti variazioni di temperatura che li mettono a dura prova.<\/p><p>Sui muri antichi funge da rinforzo e sostegno. Questo ha portato molti archeologi ad affermare che, senza l'edera, molte preziose rovine storiche sarebbero state distrutte dagli elementi (pioggia, gelo, ondate di calore) nel corso dei secoli. L'edera le ha protette e mantenute intatte.<\/p><p>Ci\u00f2 che danneggia i muri \u00e8 l'estirpazione dell'edera.
