Soms verschijnen er laterale lobben.<\/p><p>Deze klimopvari\u00ebteit is een aantrekkelijke bodembedekker. bladeren zijn bevestigd. Bij sommige klimopsoorten zijn deze stengels onvertakt, wat betekent dat er geen secundaire takken uit de klimop groeien. In dit geval zouden we zeggen dat deze klimop niet vertakt is.\u00a0<\/p><p>Bij andere soorten groeien er daarentegen talrijke secundaire takken vanuit de hoofdstengel, in de bladoksels. Deze staan bekend als vertakkende klimop.<\/p><p>Klimop kan gedwongen worden om secundaire takken te vormen door regelmatig te snoeien. Degene die secundaire takken vormen zonder gesnoeid te worden, staan bekend als klimop. <b>zelframulerend<\/b> (auto-ramification ou self-branching).
